NLD Talk

“The best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. “– Hellen Keller.

NLDtalk is an initiative by the students under the slogan “Transform. Aspire. Learn. Konnect.“ This initiated as an inspiration from a global event – TED.  What started as a mere idea has now taken shape and is one of the most awaited events of the institute. The team aims to make this a proud property of N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research.

A suite of short, carefully prepared speeches, demonstrations and performances that are experience-focused, and cover a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and provoke ideas that matter. The initiative is of the students, by the students and for the students. NLDtalk concentrates on embarking topics which are beyond ordinary. The empowering speeches delivered by our esteemed guests will not only help the students learn and gain the new perspective but also aid innovative thinking.

NLDtalk is not only a platform for professional/motivational speakers but also for in-house student orators who may not be high on age but rich with their own unique experiences. Our purpose is to give a platform to those who don’t often have one.

The first edition witnessed speakers like Shree Gauri Suresh Sawant, Aayushman Sinha, Dr. Raja Roy Choudhury and our student speaker Bhavya Roy.

We are building a clearinghouse of knowledge from experiences and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.

See you at NLDtalk!
