FAQ Online Selection Process for PGDM

Q1. What is Online Selection Process?

1. In the Online Selection process, applicants will be evaluated on various criteria through ‘live video call’ using Zoom as an online platform.

2. The applicant need not come to the institute for a face to face interview.

3. Panellists will be stationed at the institute while the applicants.

4. The applicant requires a smartphone/laptop/PC with an inbuilt camera and an internet connection from their place of residence.

5. They need to download the Zoom online platforms in their phones/mobiles/PCs/Laptops.

6. The applicant has to ensure that they are alone and, in a noise free environment.

7. The applicant will be evaluated and marked online.

Q2. How should I apply for Online Selection Process?

The applicant has to fill up the online application form for PGDM available on the website. They can select the date and time for the Online Selection Process.

Q3. How will the online Personal Interview be conducted?

1. Online Personal Interview would be a live video call.

2. Each applicant would be interviewed online by the expert panel using Zoom online platform.

3. The applicant will be interviewed from their residence using a laptop/comp/smartphone.

4. On the day of the online PI, the applicant should be ready 15 mins before their selected time.

Q4. What is online General Discussion? And how will it be conducted?

Online General Discussion can include a situational analysis/current affair topic.

Applicant would be given a topic on current affair or a situation to analyse by the panellist on which they will express their views with the help of Zoom as an online platform for 5 mins.

This would be a separate live video call on the same day and the same time slot you have selected.

Q5. What are the documents to be uploaded online?

1. Entrance Exam Score Card (CAT/XAT/CMAT/MH-CET/GMAT/MAT/ATMA) – multiple scores can be uploaded.

2. Class Xth Marksheet.

3. Class XIIth Marksheet

4. Graduate Marksheet and Degree (if available)*

5. Work Experience Certificate along with CV/Resume (if applicable)

6. Extra-Curricular Qualification/Certificates (Sports/Art – District, State, or National Level only)

7. A recent colour Photograph with white background, 75 percent face coverage and in formal attire.

*If you are appearing for graduation final year exams, provide 4 th or 5 th Semester mark sheet for 3 years’ program or 6 th or 7 th Semester mark sheet for 4 years’ program)

Q6. Where should I upload the documents?

The applicant can upload all the required documents while filling the application form online.

Q7. Can I visit the institute to have a look at the campus ?

Yes, we would love for you to visit the campus, but please check that the institute is clear of restrictions. For now, we have a virtual 360° tour on the home page of www.nldalmia.in.
