Area of expertise:

Extensive experience in evaluating organizational maturity and readiness to deploy and use Business Analytics. Mr. Desai specializes in assessing the Business Analytics infrastructure, resources and skills, internal processes and culture of organizations, and evaluating their alignment and capabilities to support their organization strategies and objectives. He also teaches and mentors students of Statistics and Management programs that he has co-developed.

Consulting Experience:

Mr. Desai leads discussion and workshops with executive level management to implement business objectives by steering organization’s current capabilities and readiness. He has led consulting projects and build roadmaps to implement the desired strategies and evolve organizations towards a higher maturity level. Mr. Desai has implemented solutions addressing analytical requirements in Financial Services and Telecommunications.

Prior Experience:

Prior to starting with N. L. Dalmia, he was setting-up Analytics Center of Excellence at NMIMS Deemed to-be University and develop Management and Statistics programs. Mr. Desai held P&L responsibility with SAS Institute India Pvt. Ltd., analyst positions with leading firms like GE Capital, where he applied statistics and technologies to support data driven decisioning.
