Bio

Dr. Sachin K. Mittal is a seasoned academician and finance professional with over 25 years of experience spanning teaching, financial analysis, strategic planning, and research. Currently serving as Professor at NLDIMSR, Mumbai, he has previously held faculty positions at reputed institutions including Woxsen School of Business (Hyderabad), Jaipuria Institute of Management (Indore) and Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Indore). He has significantly contributed to academic research as a recognized Ph.D. supervisor at DAVV, Indore, under whose guidance nine scholars have been awarded doctoral degrees. A prolific researcher, Dr. Mittal has presented papers at several national and international conferences and has published extensively in reputed journals, including those indexed in the ABDC list. He is also the author of the book ""Excel for Managers"", published by Sybgen. Dr. Mittal has developed numerous case studies on Indian businesses, several of which have been published by Ivey Publishing, Case Centre, and academic journals. As a corporate trainer, he has conducted multiple training programs for professionals and is a regular trainer for officers of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He has also served on the AICTE Committee for drafting the model MBA curriculum. His industry exposure includes strategic roles with companies such as Reliance Telecom, Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd., and K. K. Patel Finance Ltd.

Dr. Mittal's excellence in teaching has been recognised with several awards, including the Dewang Mehta Most Influential Professor Award (2023) and Best Teacher Awards at Jaipuria, Indore (2017) and Best Teacher Awards at Prestige, Indore (2012).

FDP Conducted

Conducted 2 sessions in ICSSR sponsored Capacity Building Programme organised by Nirma University, Institute of Commerce, Ahmedabad on 8th March 2022. 1st Session topic was “Data Visualization and Presentation” and 2nd Session topic was on “Credit Risk Analysis”. No. of participants were 30 from different part of the country (2022).

Conducted 5 sessions on “Excel Training Programme” for SEBI officers at their regional offices located in Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. (From Feb 2025 to June 2025)
