Bio

Dr. Jyoti Nair is the Professor - Finance at N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai. She is a Chartered Accountant with a PhD in Finance from SNDT University, Mumbai. She is also an approved PhD Guide for Mumbai University. She has around 20 years’ experience in post graduate teaching and 8 years in industry. She has been associated with N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, for the last 10 years. She has taken key roles of Program Head- PGDM, currently she is the HoD- Finance and Faculty in-charge of Assurance of Learning for AACSB accreditation. Her industry experience is in the area of statutory audit and accounting. She has independently and as a team member handled internal and statutory audits of companies like Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, FAG Precision, Tata Electric Cos, DMCC Ltd to name a few. As an academician, she has taught courses for PGDM / MMS and Executive MBA programs. Her area of expertise is Financial Accounting and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Valuation and Taxation. A keen researcher, she has published research articles and book reviews in national and international journals of repute. She is regularly invited to review research articles for journals. She has completed certificate program on Sustainable Business from Harvard Business School online. She has also published a book on Financial Accounting.
