Dr. Debapriya Samal is a faculty member in the area of Finance with nearly two years of academic and research experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, ranked 215 in the QS World University Rankings. His teaching and research interests lie in Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, and Energy Economics. He has published several research papers in reputed international journals, including those indexed in ABDC ‘A’ and Scopus. Prior to joining academia, he served as a Junior Faculty at Government Autonomous College, Rourkela (affiliated with Sambalpur University, Odisha). He also brings industry experience, having worked as an Article Assistant and Audit Manager at a Chartered Accountancy firm in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Outside his professional interests, Dr. Samal enjoys reading, writing poetry, and listening to music.
