Dr. Chetana Asbe is an academician, corporate trainer, and researcher with 19 years of experience in academia and industry. She has completed a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Mumbai. She also holds certifications in Climate Finance from the CFA Institute and an Executive Development Program in Financial Analytics from XLRI Jamshedpur. She works as a finance consultant to startups, advising on financial strategy, fundraising, and sustainable growth models. Her research expertise spans climate finance, sustainability reporting, monetary policy, and credit risk analysis. She has published in recognized ‘B and ‘C’ category journals such as Economic and Political Weekly, Accountancy Business and the Public Interest, and the International Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness, along with book chapters and authored works on Indian monetary policy. She also holds a registered copyright for her original work on the ‘Credit Resilience Score (CRS) Concept and Model for Individual Borrowers’. She has conducted training for esteemed organizations including Motilal Oswal Wealth Management, IndianOil Total, Saudi National Bank, Banque Saudi Fransi and the Central Bank of the UAE. She has also contributed extensively to curriculum development and academic governance, serving as a member of Advisory Academic Council, Board of Studies, and NEP Advisory Council at prominent institutions. As a guest faculty at IIM Mumbai, she contributes to advanced finance courses for management professionals. Dr. Asbe has been invited as a session chair, panelist, and moderator at leading international conferences and roundtables, including those hosted by CGMA (AICPA & CIMA), Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, and global research forums. She is also a recognized Ph.D. guide, mentoring research scholars in the areas of finance and sustainability.
